Earth Day Tree Planting For Kids

Local 1st-8th graders are invited to join staff from the Forest City YMCA, Winnebago Industries, and the Forest City Parks Department to plant trees to celebrate Earth Day on Wednesday, April 23rd from 2:15-4:00pm.
We will start at the Y and take a bus to the south Hynes Spur trailhead to plant 20 trees. We will then come back to the Y to plant 10 more and enjoy a yummy snack. The first 30 youth to register will also get a free tree to take home and plant.
